We were proud to have five women who served in the Vietnam War, including Edie Meeks, Judy Jenkins and Anne Kelsey, join us for A Piece Of My Heart's first talk back series. During its second run, we were honored to have its playwright Shirley Lauro discuss the play with audiences.

Diane Carlson Evans, Founder and President of The Vietnam Women’s Memorial Foundation, led talk backs at each performance for Veterans Affairs centers and schools in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Mari Steed, daughter of a Magdalene laundry survivor and head of Justice for the Magdalenes joined us for a talk back after the first run of Eclipsed in 2012. She discussed the challenges her mother and other women faced in the laundries and shared how audience members could help the surviving women and their families seek reparations from the Irish government.

After select performances of Insignificantwe were thrilled to have several experts in astronomy share their insights with audience members. Our guests were Emily L. Rice from the Museum of Natural History and College of Staten Island; Marc Taylor, Manager of Planetarium and Science Programs at the Hudson River Museum Planetarium; Dr. Gerceida Jones from New York University; and Jillian Bellovary from the Museum of Natural History. We had inspiring conversations about how to support female and other marginalized voices in the sciences.
