Ashley Adelman (Chair, Co-Founder) received her BFA from NYU TISCH and her MFA from The Actors Studio at Pace University. Her favorite roles include: Haylee in Girl With the Red Hair (Theatre For The New City), Edna in Waiting For Lefty (Emerson Collective), Chava in Fiddle on the Roof (Strivelli Players), Thersites in Triolus and Cressida (Hudson Shakespeare) and Sissy in A Piece Of My Heart (Wyoming Tour).
Carina Don (Secretarial Chair) has worked with IVP on Eclipsed, These Shining Lives, Censored On Final Approach, and Insignificant. Other New York productions include This is Why I Whisper (Symphony Space) and Crossing Verrazano (Manhattan Theater Rep). Carina has worked with Punchdrunk, Roundabout Theatre Company, and Richard Frankel Productions. She is a graduate of New York University.
Colleen Britt (Vice-Chair, Resident Director)directed A Piece Of My Heart, Censored On Final Approach, and Insignificant with IVP. She has directed many new works in NYC, including Dead Bullies (NYU), Slipping on Black Ice (The Hudson Guild Theatre) and If Stars are Lit (Actors Studio play Festival). Kaitlyn Huczko (Treasury Chair)holds a BA in Theatre from Muhlenberg College and an MFA from the Actors Studio. Ally Tufenkjian (Co-Producer) performed in Eclipsed and Censored On Final Approach and co-produced Insignificant with IVP. A Teaching Artist, she uses the arts to impact young people. She teaches for Green Generations, a non-profit devoted to socio-emotional learning. Laura King Otazo (Media Promotions) has performed with IVP in Censored On Final Approach and Insignificant. Favorite credits include Kate (Taming of the Shrew) with Random Access Theatre and Helena (A Midsummer Night's Dream) with Mortal Folly Theatre. She has worked on the WebSeries Paralleles with JusB Productions for which she won an LAWebfest Best Actress award. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband Christian, their cat Lydia, and their dog/monster Megatron.
Jacqueline Knapp (Director)is an Associate Director of the Actors Studio and teaches for their Drama School MFA Graduate Program at Pace University. She has appeared On and Off-Broadway and most notable film & TV credits include You Don't Know Jack w/Al Pacino, Boardwalk Empire, The Blacklist, and TheLeftovers.
Julia Lauria-Blum (Director)is a WASP historian. Her permanent WASP exhibit was dedicated in June 2001 by Gov. George Pataki. She received the 2003 Women's History Award from the 2003 Women's Equality Committee of the National Organization of Women and was presented a citation for her service. Julia was a consultant on the History Channel documentary “Women Combat Pilots, The Right Stuff” and co-curated the Ninety-Nines, International Organization of Women Pilots at Airpower.
Linda van Kesteren (Director)has choreographed and directed 19 musicals for kids ages 7-18 at the Danny Kaye Playhouse, The Hewitt School, Trevor Day School, ShelterIsland Showkids (co-business owner) and The Harlem School of the Arts. Linda has performed both on and Off-Broadway and worked behind the scenes as Director of Program Development for the League of American Theaters and Producers. She holds a BA and MBA from Columbia University.
