synopsis

Over 50 years ago, thousands of young American women volunteered to serve in Vietnam, taking on critical roles that have often been overlooked by history. Infinite Variety Productions (IVP) interviewed five of these women—two military officers and three civilian employees—to capture their firsthand accounts.

Using a script woven directly from these women’s oral histories, “In Their Footsteps” immerses audiences in their experiences, allowing them to walk in the footsteps of those who lived through one of the most controversial conflicts in American history.
